"Nao- I mean Mom?" Melody had asked at dinner. "What's wrong?" Naomi asked, upset that something was wrong already. "I think were ready to start school." Caleb said. Naomi was suprised, but then she thought that they did need some friends. "Alright I'll call after dinner. I'm sure they'll have no objection for you two to start school tommorow. It's a very small school that teaches grades first through ninth. There is about fifteen children in each grade." Naomi explained. She was quite pleased with their behavior

Bloodstone: Chapter IChapter I "Are you sure you are ready for this Ms. Stevens?" asked the manager of the adoption agency. She nodded her head. She had been ready for this moment for a very long time. "Very well then. Please sign here, and here." As she signed the documents her pen shook anxiously in her hand. "Congratulations Ms. Stevens! I know you will be happy to meet them, very nice kids you know! Here is their birth certificates and anything else you will need." the adoption agency manager said, handing Naomi the paperwork.
